Menu Plan: September 8, 2012

Welcome to Menu Plan Monday!

I'm still running behind trying to get everyone well and haven't linked anything in, but this is my tentative menu for the week:

SATURDAY:
-Spanish Omelets
-peanut butter and banana sandwiches, chips and salsa, grapes
-saucy black beans, Mexi-rice, flatbread
snacks:toasted wheat bread, homemade jelly, sunflower seeds
SUNDAY:
-breakfast burritos
-black bean chili, crackers, Honey Spelt Muffins w/ jelly
-grilled chicken legs, beets from the garden, fried cabbage, homemade pudding pops
snacks:apples and peanut butter
MONDAY:
-fried eggs, toasted breakfast bread
-Butternut Squash Soup, French Bread, jelly
-Homemade cheeseburger macaroni, spinach salad, carrot slaw, leftover muffins and jelly
-snacks:bread with homemade pesto, watermelon from the garden
TUESDAY:
-oatmeal with apples, raisins, nuts
-Peanut butter and banana sandwiches,garden salad w/ spinach, grapes
-Grilled Chicken Thighs, swiss chard from the garden, sliced tomatoes, chicken flavored rice, leftover grilled bread
snacks:leftover french bread and jelly, homemade hot pockets from the freezer (for teens who are constantly hungry right now :)
WEDNESDAY:
-Bug Oats w/ nuts and honey
-Pepperoni  Monkey Bread with pizza sauce, side salad, frozen fruit slushie
-Pinto Beans, cornbread, sliced tomatoes, fried potatoes
snacks:boiled eggs and mustard,frozen fruit slushies
THURSDAY:
-Buttermilk Biscuits, scrambled eggs
-leftover beans, fried cornbread, fermented kraut, homemade pudding
-Baked Ham, leftover beans, slaw, hard rolls, jelly
snacks:frozen pudding pops, buttered popcorn, biscuits
FRIDAY:
-Coconut Rice
-Frittata w/ diced ham, hash brown potatoes, toasted breakfast bread, jelly
-Ground Beef Gyros, frozen pudding pops
snacks:smoothies, broiled muffins with butter and honey
