Oatmeal Pancakes

3 cups plain flour
3 cups quick oats
1 cup dry milk
1 t salt
3 T baking powder
3/4 cup oil, shortening, or melted butter*
4 eggs
5 cups water

Stir dry ingredients together in a bowl. Blend in the oil, eggs, and water. Stir well with mixer. 
Ladle approx. 1/4 cup onto hot, buttered griddle. 

Cool completely on baker's rack before freezing.

* All dry ingredients can be pre-mixed and if you use shortening, it can be cut in and the dry mix stored in the refrigerator. You can then use it by approx. 2 cups mixture, 1 cup egg, 1 cup water.
