Saturday:
-toasted Homemade Bread, fried eggs, cherry jam
-leftover pizza, raw broccoli
-Italian Pork Stew, Whole Wheat Dinner Rolls, jam
snacks:nuts, Impossible Pumpkin Pie (from frozen puree)
frugal notes: the pork was given to me, the pumpkin was pureed from cheap after Halloween pumpkins, jam was homemade, some of the veggies in the stew were from the garden
Sunday:
-Buttermilk Biscuits, scrambled eggs, orange slice, grape jelly
-Simple Spaghetti, French Bread, homemade jelly
-(Turkey) Polish Sausage Skillet Dish, broccoli, leftover bread and jelly
snacks:apples with cheese chunks, leftover Wheat Rolls and jelly
frugal notes: jelly was homemade, polish sausage was bought on sale at .99 per pack, apples were bought in bulk at .88 per pound, cheese was bought in bulk, potatoes were bought in bulk at .16 per pound
Monday:
-Yogurt and Cranberry-Almond Granola
-Saucy Black Beans and brown rice, sweet potatoes
-Deer Black Bean Chili, Pepper Jelly, 4 Loaves of White Bread
snacks: popcorn, sliced apples, peanut butter
frugal notes: venison was a gift, black beans were pre-cooked from dried, apples .88 pound, popcorn bought in bulk from Sam's
Tuesday:
-Chocolate Oatmeal
-Red Beans and Rice, pudding
-Chicken Stew, Sweet and/or Savory Breadsticks
snacks:leftover breadsticks w/ honey-yogurt dip
frugal notes: oatmeal was bought in bulk from Cash-n-Cary, beans were pre-cooked and frozen from dried, chicken was bought whole at .79 per pound and pre-cooked -shredded-and frozen
Wednesday:
-Yogurt and Basic Vanilla Granola
-leftover Chicken Stew, Braided Swiss Bread, jelly
-Beef and Pork Liver Terrine, cole slaw, romaine salad
snacks:leftover bread w/ peanut butter and/or jelly
frugal notes: pork liver was given to me, cabbage for slaw was .33 per pound, jelly was homemade, romaine was bought in bulk at Sam's, oats were bought in bulk at Cash-n-Carry
Thursday:
-Lemon-Poppy Seed Oatmeal
-Bologna Cups, beets from the garden, Mustard Potatoes
-Hearty Beef Stew, Yogurt Rye Bread, jam
snacks:chips w/ fermented bean dip, bread broiled with cheese
frugal notes: bologna was bought at .79 per pound, potatoes were .16 per pound, beef is leftover (sniff, I think it's the last pack, found it digging) from half-cow, bean dip is homemade, beets from garden
Friday:
-Vanilla Polenta
-Taco-Bean Salad, leftover slaw, frozen pudding pops
-O'Brion's Irish Dish, turnip greens from the garden, steamed green peas
snacks:Apple-Cinnamon-Raisin Baked Pancake
frugal notes: cabbage .33 per pound, potatoes .16 per pound, carrots less than .50 per pound, peas were .99 per pound, apples .88 per pound, greens from garden, beans cooked and frozen from dried that was bought in bulk
