FRUIT CRISP- recipe and tip

*My tip for you is that you can use this recipe or your own for the topping and use ANY fruit on the bottom. It doesn't have to be Apple Crisp every time! This one is a Cherry Crisp with canned cherry pie filling. You could use pear, peach, strawberry, rhubarb, blueberry, etc. Or mix them all up; like peach and apricot.

*Here's my favorite recipe for the topping, but again, you can use one of your choice. This one makes quite a batch and with a crew of 8, a little pie pan doesn't get it anymore!:-)

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 cup brown sugar

3/4 cup quick oats

1/3 cup butter

Slightly melt your butter, add in sugar then flour and oats. Stir until all is lightly moistened by the butter.

Spread across fruit that has been placed in a sprayed baking dish.

Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
