That's for the Birds!

I wanted to show you a little tip that I use to keep birds away. Its not that I don't like birds...its just I don't like them in certain places:-).

I got flogged by some once and I never want my children to go through that.

The birds like my porch and have picked various places where they would love to nest but I would love for them not to! I don't like destroying nest or eggs but if they are allowed to lay eggs they become quite aggressive.

So--here's a trick that I have found to keep away the birds:

Old CDs!

DH uses lots of them and often has a few that seem to be 'duds'. Well the bird's own reflection gives them quite a spook so these are in my hanging plants and my wreath on the door.

Works like a charm!
