Cheeseburger Macaroni

1 lb ground chuck
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 large onion, chopped
(Brown and drain fat.)
While meat is browning cook 1 cup whole wheat macaroni.
To meat mix, stir in;
1 can mushrooms
1 can tomato sauce
1 1/2 T prepared mustard
1 t parsley
1/2 t salt
1/2 t fresh ground black pepper
1 can diced tomatoes, drained
1 T onion powder
Simmer while noodles cook. Drain noodles and toss in the meat mix. Top with cheddar cheese and allow to melt.

*Served here with steamed broccoli.
*Meal cost approx. $5 to feed 8 plus leftovers.
