Frugal Thanksgiving.........

One of the best ways to keep your Thanksgiving on the frugal is to begin planning now!

As with my once a month shopping, you can do it two ways; begin looking for deals and plan the menu accordingly OR plan the menu and watch for the sales!

Either way you decide, you could have most of your shopping done days before Thanksgiving!
This would free you up to begin working on the cooking a little at a time, freezing things up beforehand so all you have to do is basically thaw and heat!

Get your recipes together and put them right where you can find them all!

Turkeys are often that last to go on sale and they also take up the most room in your freezer so you may want to wait on him until right at the last.

Also, this gives you lots of time to pre-plan activities with the kiddies!

Of course to be extreme frugal, you could always have a big family Thanksgiving and have everyone bring 'one dish'! ;-) Or a Friendship Thanksgiving and do the same!
