A touchy subject this one is, so I will be brief.
Leave sex out of it!
If you are going through a divorce, do not, DO NOT, allow sex to complicate the matters. Sex WILL confuse your emotions and make you feel certain things that may not be appropriate under the circumstances. If you are divorced, then you would be having 'sex outside of marriage' which would be considered a sin, right?
You may think, "it's just sex and we're settled on the divorce". Well, what do you think the kids are thinking? Do you want them to have false hope or confused morals? Isn't the divorce confusing enough?
What if there's a pregnancy as a result? Or worse, what if one partner has been promiscuous and there's a transmission of a disease? ...It's just better to cut all ties until or unless, God heals the entire marriage.
