Blend 1 stick of melted butter with
1 1/4 cup cane sugar.
Beat in 3 eggs.
-2 cups wheat flour
-2 t baking powder
-1 cup rolled oats
-1 cup chopped walnuts (or other, opt)
-1 cup chocolate chips
Spread in 10x15 pan and bake at 350 for approx 25 minutes until slightly golden and edges are slightly browned. Cool and cut into squares. Makes great take-along snacks!
