Blend 1 stick of melted butter with
1 1/4 cup cane sugar.
Beat in 3 eggs.
Blend in
-2 cups wheat flour
-2 t baking powder
-1 cup rolled oats
-1 cup chopped walnuts (or other, opt)
-1 cup chocolate chips
Spread in 10x15 pan and bake at 350 for approx 25 minutes until slightly golden and edges are slightly browned. Cool and cut into squares. Makes great take-along snacks!
**Kids suggested coconut in them next time! Good idea!

Looks good and easy and very yummy will be trying this soon! I have everything on hand well besides the wheat flour and cane sugar..will just have to make them with white and regular I guess..but still a great snack for the kids..thanks for sharing!

That would work fine! You could also use dried fruits if you have any on hand!
