I would never imagined that at 15 degrees, we could be eating from the garden- but golly-gee winkers- we did tonight!
These beautiful kale greens were still growing in my garden and even had ice on them when we brought them in- but they cooked up just perfect! -even still crisp!
Wow!
It is down to about 5 degrees tonight and I wonder if it will kill out what was left in the garden- some brocolli and romaine.
Probably so- but I sure was thankful to have these tonight for supper! Mmm MMmm!
