Roasted Bone Marrow

This is one of my favorite treats in the world!
Yes, I know it's weird and wacky, but it is truly yummy. I prefer these grilled, this one was boiled because it was frozen to an ankle bone that came with our cow.
Below is a video of an excellent way to cook them too. He roasts them in the oven
at 425 for 20 to 25 minutes and spreads over toast. I like it straight up ;-)

I LOVE roasted marrow. I, too, spread it on toast. It's so buttery tasting!

Yes, it is!
I can't seem to make it to the toast, I scoop it right out and gobble it up. :-)

I'm curious...but kind of grossed-out! :)

I'm sure it's really good for you, though.

You're right Ma, it is good 4 you.

It's got such a rich flavor, that it doesn't bother me at all. I like to get the bones sliced smaller/thinner than this too. Grilling them allows some of the fat to drip out and seems to make it get more or a meaty consistency. But spreading on toast is a good alternative to adjust to it ;-)
