Cream together:
1 stick butter
1 cup cane (or white sugar)
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
Beat in:
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup dark cocoa
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
1 1/4 cup plain flour
3 cups quick oats
1 cup dark chocolate chips (or more)
*opt 1 cup chopped pecans
Blend well and drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for approx. 10 minutes.
Cool on pan for several minutes.
*You can use regular cocoa and chips in these as well.
