Almond Joy Oatmeal

This is another tasty spin to keep everyone from getting bummed out with the same ole oatmeal. 
And to me- this idea trumps anything I've seen in a box! ;-) 

I used my recipe for Chocolate Oatmeal, subbing out dark cocoa, and topping with coconut and sliced almonds.
2 cups quick oats
5 cups water
3/4 cup brown sugar
3 T butter *opt
1 T coconut oil *opt
1/4 cup dark cocoa 
Top with shredded coconut and sliced almonds.

Bring water to a boil and add oats. Cook 1 minute and add remaining ingredients. Save leftovers for dessert for lunch!
