Another Table-setting Tip

This was our Christmas table. You can even see our red and green paper chain in the background.

What do you suppose is on the table?

The runner is nothing more than ordinary, inexpensive wrapping paper! Our place-mats were made from red construction paper with a cut out Christmas tree from green paper along with cut-out and glued presents!

The center-piece was a Styrofoam block that had come inside of a package that I had wrapped candy canes around with a rubber band and on the top of it I had stuck some Dum-Dum suckers in which had Apple Jacks on the sticks (sorta red and green colors!). There was also a tin of cookies underneath that and on either side was a box of candy canes. My kids thought it was neat! Especially since I allowed them a candy cane or cookie after their meals until the boxes were empty!
