COUNTRY BAKED BEEF PIE

1 pound of ground beef
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
2 carrots, grated
2 medium potatoes, grated
1 tomato, chopped
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 T steak sauce
1/2 t garlic powder
salt and pepper
1/2 cup water

(*Cornbread batter for top.)

Brown meat, drain. Add water and vegetables, saute for 5 minutes. Add sauces and seasonings.
Bake in 9x13, covered with a thin layer of cornbread batter, for 30 to 40 minutes at 400.

(I served this dish with sauteed squash.)
