CROCKPOT LASAGNA

1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
1 large onion chopped
1/2 cup bell pepper chopped
1 pkg lasagna noodles
1 1/2 t garlic powder
24 oz cottage cheese
6 oz tomato paste
15 oz tomato sauce
1 T sugar
1 t Italian seasonings
2 T parsley
12 oz Mozzarella cheese

Break noodles into 1 or 2 inch pieces. Cook until slightly tender. Drain.

Cook ground beef, onions, and peppers and drain. Mix in tomato paste, tomato sauce, sugar, seasonings, 1 1/2 T parsley (reserving the rest for the top if you desire), and garlic powder. Add noodles and pour into crock-pot. (**Spray crock with non-stick spray beforehand!) Spread cottage cheese over meat and noodle mixture, then add mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with parsley, if desired.

Cook on low approx 5 hours.

****Please use caution until you determine how long this takes to cook in your crock-pot!

I have made crockpot lasagna for years! One of my favorite meals..but mine is a little different. I only use home canned spaghetti sauce, alfredo sauce, no boil noodles, and cheese and burger meat of course. We love it and isn't too expensive. Yum!
Yours looks great too!
