TURKEY BURGERS WITH MUSHROOMS


WE LOVE TURKEY BURGERS AND THESE ARE ONE GREAT WAY TO HAVE ONE!
2lbs lean ground turkey
1 t garlic powder
2 1/2 t paprika
1 t black pepper
-Combine and blend evenly. Shape into 8 patties.
2T light butter
160z sliced button mushrooms
Saute mushrooms in butter until tender.
Light mayo
Romaine lettuce leaves
8 toasted whole grain buns
Lightly spray pan or griddle and cook until no longer pink.
Spread mayo on top bun, place lettuce. On lower bun, place patty and top with sauteed mushrooms.

Oh I would love to buy ground turkey. Here that stuff runs over $8/lb. ACtually our chicken regular price is almost $9. Crazy eh? If I ever snag some half price in the morning I plan to make some of these
