These are so easy, quick, and frugal.
The pita bread seen here is homemade, so it's just pennies but you can buy it at the store for $2 or so.

The inside is chili flavored pinto and red beans. You can buy them canned and pre-flavored or flavor your own home-cooked with a little chili powder. Top with some good cheese and there you go!
I've read that if you combine a bean/legume and a grain that it makes for a complete protein.
