Kitchen Tip/Frugal Tip

This may be an old idea to some but its something that I've been doing lately to keep meals light, since the weather has been so hot and it also keeps the meals frugal!

I've been trying to base several meals a week around the BREAD, instead of the meat.

Examples: pita bread sandwiches, buns with meat/TVP patties, bread bowls with Hoppin' John, Onion Flatbread with soup and a salad, sweet 7 grain muffins with savory soups, cheese tortillas stuffed with beans, pita stuffed with beans and cheese, French Bread spun into Meatball Subs, French Bread turned into pizza bread, etc.
