Sunday’s Savior/ It’s Not Real

Is your faith the size of a mustard seed? Sometimes we all have granule-sized faith.
Other times, we all can have mountain faith!
*
But you see, even mustard seeds have life!
*
Life grows, it changes, sometimes it may even get a little wilted; like a plant that lacks enough water or nutrients from it’s soil.
*
While glancing across a news section on the net, I saw an unfavorable report about how rats faired with ‘moisturizers’. I thought to myself, no wonder- it’s not real! They make this stuff out of something that’s made from something else, that’s made from something else, that’s made from who knows what!
Sometimes faith can get that way.
*
I remember talking with someone about the Lord once, who kept talking about things that the preacher said about God, or about things that so and so said about God, or things that they had read from other books about God. My heart wanted desperately to hear this person say something about THEIR God. Something that was personal, between them and their God. Something that God had said to them through His Word.
*
You see, their faith had revolved around other people’s faith. Their God was the God that they were told that He was.
*
I cannot say for sure whether The God was real to them, but may I ask you; IS YOUR GOD REAL TO YOU? Have you put yourself in a place with Him where He can prove to you that He Is the God He claims to be in His Word?
*
Have you tried Him(Psa 34:8)
….. Or rather tested Him?(Mal 3:10 God tells us to ‘prove’ Him!)
*
If Jacob can wrestle with Him, can we not ask Him to prove Himself to us? (Gen 32:24-30)
And remember Jesus’ disciples? and how He told them in Luke 24:39 not only to “behold” (see) but also to touch Him (KJV uses the word- handle)?
The Lord Jesus was willing and ready to prove Himself to them.
*
He is you too!
*
So my friend, is it real? Is your faith real? Will you be bold enough and honest enough with yourself to ask the Lord to be REAL to you?
*
All of us go through ups and downs in life, but God never changes. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever!
*
And just as He was faithful in the Bible, He remains faithful to His own today!
*
HERE'S WHAT HE SAYS:
Jer 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
