The other day, my little girl asked me for some kefir. I normally put it in their smoothies so it was odd for her to ask for it like this. I let her have it and she LOVED it! She then asked for more, drank it all, licked her lips, and asked, "Did you make that?" I shook my head yes and she then brought me a piece of paper and asked, "Can I have your autograph?" ;-)
I signed 'Mom' on her paper, she then said "your real name" and I had to stop and think....isn't Mom my real name?

Hilarious! I haven't made any Kefir yet but I am going to. Maybe my son will love it as well.

How neat! I so want to try making homemade kefir. We used to buy bottles of the flavored kefir at the grocery store until they got ridiculously expensive and our kids just loved it. They have all learned that homemade tastes so much better than anything you can buy at the store, so I'm sure they'd go for this in a heartbeat. Now to just find some starter grains so that I can be a rockstar too!
