Pecan Snowball Cookies

These cookies were the biggest hit at my house this year during Christmas! And they are really quick and easy to make!
*(I also bought medium-sized Christmas bags (you know, the kind with handles) and put some of these in sacks (wrapped loosely in waxed paper), along with Pioneer Biscuit Mix and a jar of my homemade jelly(with a red unraveled bow tied around the lid), along with a baggie of doggie treats, to both of my neighbors.)*
They are not the most frugal cookie, but they are one of the most delightful!
CREAM:
1 cup of butter
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1 t vanilla
ADD:
1/2 t salt
2 cups of plain flour
MIX WELL THEN ADD:
2 cups of finely chopped pecans
Roll into balls.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 15 minutes at 375 until slightly golden and set.
Cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar.
Yummy!

I love these cookies! When I was little, our pastor's wife used to make them and bring them to dinners at church. Yum!
