BARLEY - 3 CUPS WATER COOK 1 1/2 HOURS YIELD:3 1/2 C
BUCKWHEAT - 2 CUPS WATER COOK 20 MINUTES YIELD: 2 1/2 C
BUGHAR - 2 CUPS WATER COOK 20 MINUTES YIELD: 2 1/2 C
MILLET- 3 CUPS WATER COOK 45 MINUTES YIELD: 3 1/2 C
ROLLED OATS- 1 1/2 C WATER COOK 15 MINUTES YIELD: 2 1/2 C
WHOLE WHEAT- 2 C WATER COOK 1 HOUR YIELD: 2 1/2 C
This chart is from a little cookbook that I've had for years.
It does not mention soaking grains but with most of these you could soak them in this amount of water overnight with a little lemon juice added to the water. Wheat may need to be soaked longer.
