Gratituesday...little books and little boys!

Several weeks ago, I entered a neat little drawing over at StretchMarkMama's for some super fun children's readers. Well, we received that neat little "We All Sleep" book in the mail yesterday and my little, formerly-discouraged boy, was able to read almost the entire book all by himself! He was sooo excited (and I was soooooo proud!).

It was a wonderful prize for him and encouraged him sooo much that he toted it around most of the day! That's a pretty big deal to get a book in the mail, ya know? Aren't we all little kids when it comes to that??!!!???

But I'm soooo grateful for that little book this week.
If you have more than one child, you know how the baby of the bunch can really get bummed out when he can't read as well as everyone else, magically, overnight! This little book seemed to do just the trick for him- it showed him that he COULD DO IT! :-) .....something his momma knew all along!!! ....It's wonderful to see that little spark in his eyes as he is now realizing that he can! HE CAN READ! WOO HOO!
