Clover, shamrocks or wood sorrel, When I lived in Washington, along the wood line grew these looked like giant shamrocks, and my husband told me to eat one he said they were edible and it tasted like like blackberries, very sour.
It is sorrel! And you can eat it in salads or use it as a flavoring...it is sour... between blackberry and lemon! :-) (I imagine that it would make a decent tea too!)

Looks sort of like clover, but it's hard to tell.
