Pasta, Peas, and Parmesan!

Ever run out of ideas for filling side dishes? Or run out of fresh veggies and need to go digging in the pantry and freezer? Dishes like this are perfect for days like those!
1 box (8servings) favorite pasta
boil as per package directions and add to the last 4 minutes of cooking;
1 cup of peas
1 red bell pepper, chopped

Meanwhile, lightly saute in 4 T olive oil;
2 small chopped onions
2 shredded carrots
1 t dried basil

Drain pasta and toss together adding about 1/3 of your favorite Italian Dressing and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Toss all and serve warm.

*Served here with Italian Baked Chicken and leftover potato salad.
