You can just whip your own butter! ;-)

I've mentioned to you how much my dh loves toasted breakfast bread in the morning.
He even likes it made with spelt!
But what he doesn't like is big chunks of unsoftened, unmelted butter on his toast! ;-)
So- I whipped the butter so it would behave much better for him! hee hee
*
I left it out until it was room temp. I added a couple of tablespoons of water to it and whirled it in my mini food processor until it was nice and fluffy!
This was made from Organic Valley Butter and it doesn't need as much water as regular stick butter to fluff it up and it also stays softer than stick butter.
I leave this in a sealed container on the counter- yeah, no fridge.
When I put it back in the fridge- it hardens back up some and I like to keep it spreadable, so I just leave it out on the counter. Its used within a few days and never spoils ..and dh is happy!
That's what's important!
So- do you whip your butter to make it behave? Or do you buy it already whipped?
;-)

Thank you Joy!
Dh has become quite spoiled to it!

I wondered if I made "real" butter if I could just whip back in the leftover buttermilk? Have ta try that....
