Kitchen Tip.... 2 french toast tips...

I make a simple dip for french toasts (3 eggs, 2 cups milk) but I no longer toss in the cinnamon. It doesn't stay evened out so some pieces have LOTS of cinnamon while others have NONE.
SOLUTION:
sprinkle the cinnamon on once they are on the griddle!
Then when you flip them, sprinkle again- nice and even.

And you can also cut the pieces up to make French Toast Sticks.
I like to do this on the weekends and flash freeze them for the kids for breakfast throughout the week.

What makes it even better? Using homemade bread!

I know what you mean about the uneven cinnamon. Your toast looks delicious!

I cut all of them into 'sticks' and my kids loved them- especially since they can 'dip' them. What is it about kids and dipping!?!?!?
