I make a simple dip for french toasts (3 eggs, 2 cups milk) but I no longer toss in the cinnamon. It doesn't stay evened out so some pieces have LOTS of cinnamon while others have NONE.
SOLUTION:
sprinkle the cinnamon on once they are on the griddle!
Then when you flip them, sprinkle again- nice and even.
And you can also cut the pieces up to make French Toast Sticks.I like to do this on the weekends and flash freeze them for the kids for breakfast throughout the week.

What makes it even better? Using homemade bread!

I know what you mean about the uneven cinnamon. Your toast looks delicious!
Thank you Aiming4Simple!
I cut all of them into 'sticks' and my kids loved them- especially since they can 'dip' them. What is it about kids and dipping!?!?!?
