But last week, we were grocery shopping and there was a car in the lot with this on it "2 Chr 7:14". My kids wanted it looked up 'right then' and wanted to know , word for word, what it said.
I'm so thankful for that little Bible, but not just for that Bible, but for the freedom that I have to carry it! -and it beats my other one which must weigh 15 pounds!
Oh and this was the verse:
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

This post made me smile! I keep a Bible in my van also, but have been unable to find it when I wanted it, too! :) One that snaps closed is excellent because being in a van that really gets used, sometimes the pages get messed up. Mine doesn't snap closed...therefore my page edges are pretty warped. :)
What a great idea, and what a great verse!
I have a small Bible in my diaper bag. Thanks for this post. I love that verse too! Great thing to be Thankful for!
