Did you eat the 'good luck' food for New Year's?

Black-eyed peas w/ leftover ham/bone over buttermilk cornbread and greens topped with fermented purple cabbage. (Its from the batch I made during the summer. Amazingly fresh!)
..I don't really believe in 'luck' but I do like traditions.
This is one for New Year's here in the South.
Yummy!

You know we didn't do this at all this year..guess we will see how it works out on the luck thing..LOL LOL we don't believe in luck! Yours looks mighty good though..we also make hog jowl with ours, but not this year!
