When the cupboards are skimpy and there's not much produce left and its still a week or two away from shopping time, bread and jelly are one of our favorite snacks!
I love making bread and I love making jelly. We have quite a variety of jellies right now. There's dandelion, violet, lemon-basil, spiced pear, grape, mint, and I think there's still one or two apple from last year.
The round loaves in the pictures were made with Brandy's French Bread recipe with a little spelt flour. The slices on the plate were Artisan Bread.
