This is the jacket they talked me into making for poor ole Carl who had no shirt. This army guy is quite a character at our house. You see- he has had his arm replaced, a foot, and there is something wrong with one leg they said. He's a walking miracle- but at least he now has a jacket! ;-)

giggle. I'm sorry but I about choked on my water reading this! :) Mom, make him a hat! You, as a mom, KNOW that most of the body heat is lost through the head! :) Love the army dude!
FIF,
Yes, I'm still behind and don't have that hat made yet! -And winter's coming! ;-)
My kids give me FAR too much credit...make that doll a hat?!?!
Gee winkers!
My oldest had a ballerina barbie whose arms had been hotglued back on, her right leg wouldn't move cause I hotglued it, her hands were chewed up, and she was missing a foot...oh and her head would just pop off at random. So after the 100th time of snapping her head back on I suggested we put Ballerina Barbie to rest, end her suffering...well, you'd thought I was a psychopath the way she looked at me! She watched me like a hawk, until I finally bought her a new one, then she was completely happy to throw the old one away...LOL. Maybe I should have sent her to your house so her and Combat Carl could get married and take care of one another. :)
lolol
Tooooo funny!
But my sentimental kids would have LOVED it! I think they've seen one too many Toy Story movies and can't bear to trash an old toy ;-)
But speaking of burials, they have also buried a few in our back yard, which later got shredded by the tiller- that was a sad day....
as they wanted to dig him back up and see if "the elements" had done him any harm! ;-)
