a very interesting varied menu
Thank you, DivaSuperMum! :)
I have a question about the recipe you have listed for french bread. How do you store it? We cannot eat 4 loaves before they become steel.
JMD,
with this Italian bread- it's one loaf and here today and gone tomorrow :)
But with my bigger batches-
Wheat bread- I slice for toast once cooled, stuff in Ziploc bags, and put into the refrigerator and just toast them as I need them.
With my 4 loaves of French Bread-
We eat one at lunch, one at supper, often slices toasted and buttered (and sometimes with cheese) the next day. Then any leftover loaves get split, slathered with butter, garlic, and parsley and tucked in the freezer. I just toss them in the oven to reheat for spaghetti meals, etc. :)
Hope that helps give you some ideas!
