My frugal tip of the week: Plant a garden! It's one of the cheapest ways to eat your veggies:) Also, learn to make your own granola. It's cheaper and better for you than any cereal in a box!
SATURDAY:
-Banana Nut Pancakes
-leftover Homemade Pizza
-Ground Beef Fajitas, chips and bean paste
snacks: apples and bananas
SUNDAY:
-kids' choice
-Bean Burritos (with saucy black beans), chips and salsa
-Ham, garden sugar snap peas, salad, sliced White Bread (recipe for 4 loaves)
snacks:Banana Nut Bread, plain chocolate cake
MONDAY:
-Vanilla-Cinnamon Quinoa Pudding
-Sweet and Sour Chicken Bits over Rice, steamed broccoli, spinach salad
-Ham and Cheese Pockets, sugar snap peas w/ dip, fried apples
snacks:bananas w/ almond butter and raisins, Cinnamon Toast
TUESDAY:
-Eggs and Applesauce
-Black Bean and Beef Hash, sweet potatoes, garden chard
-Frugal Meat Dish, Golden Broccoli Salad, romaine from the garden
snacks:Banana-Avocado-Mango Smoothies, Beignets
WEDNESDAY:
-Baked Eggs in Toast Cups, applesauce
-Split Pea Soup w/ leftover ham (and chard from the garden), Rustic Spelt Rolls, jelly
-Lil Roasted Chickens w/ veggies, steamed broccoli
snacks:bread and jelly, fried bananas
THURSDAY:
-Fried Polenta, boiled eggs
-Easy Chicken Stir Fry, brown rice, plain cake w/ powdered sugar
-Chicken Joes on Kaiser Rolls, cole slaw, romaine salad from the garden
snacks:Chocolate Cheesecake Balls, apples
FRIDAY:
-Nutty Maple Granola
-Salmon Loaf, potato wedges, sugar snap peas from the garden
-Homemade Pizza, Homemade Chocolate Pudding
snacks:Peanut Butter No-Bake Cookies, celery sticks and dip
