Menu Plan.....

I got about 1/3 of my monthly grocery shopping finished but can't seem to get the rest!
I will be getting some new wheat this week and I'm so excited I can hardly wait!
Here's our MenuPlanMonday:

SATURDAY:
-kids choice
-Onion Salmon Loaf, sauteed peppers onions zukes, spinach salad
-buttered asparagus, spicy black beans, rice with sauce, flat bread (for scooping)
Snacks- Wheat-n-Flax Chocolate Chip Cookies, veggie sticks
SUNDAY:
-grits
- Cheeseburger (wheat)Macaroni Dish, spinach salad, cauliflower in homemade buttermilk dressing
-Roast, potatoes, carrots, gravy, cornbread, collard greens-n-onions
Snacks: Wheat-n-Flax Cookies, Blueberry-mango yogurt smoothie
MONDAY:
-Coconut Brown Rice Pudding
- packed-on-the-run-sammy's, veggies, raisins, granola bars
-Baked Salmon Fillets, oven potatoes, spinach salad, sauteed zukes
Snacks:bananas, grapes, poppy seed crackers
TUESDAY:
-waffles from freezer, orange slices
-Beans, kale greens, cornbread, corn
-Chile, Choco-wheat Cake
Snacks: Cherry-Berry Smoothie (smuggles: kelp powder, spinach), apples and dip
WEDNESDAY:
-Homemade Cream of Wheat
-Homemade chicken nuggets with oven fries, cole slaw (tip)
-Chili and cheese, Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Snacks: Tillamook Cheese and poppy seed crackers, apples
THURSDAY:
-kids choice
-Chicken Stew
-Boston Roast, potatoes, salad, maples carrots
Snacks: Yummy Yogurt, Nutty Maple Granola
FRIDAY:
-Nana Yogurt Dish
-Baked Beans-vegetable plate lunch
-Chicken Salad Pita Sandwiches, spinach salad
Snacks: Cinnamon Sticks, veggies and dip

Menu looks great as usual I plan to post mine today on my blog as well hoping if I post it, it will help keep me going on the menu planning! :)

Saryn-
It is called "boston butt roast" down here in TN. Some places call it "rump roast"...on some packages they say "pork steak ready shoulder center cut butt".
These are the roasts that people will smoke on side of the roads down here and sell them for $25 to 30 for fund raisers in the summer.

They are usually cheap- often running for .89 a pound, which they are this week in one store here.
