My frugal tip for the week: Buy what is on sale and build your menu around it. This month's shopping held deals on chicken, citrus fruits, pie crusts, and hams.
SATURDAY:
-kids' choice-Chicken Nuggets and crinkle fries, Coconut Choc Chip Wheat muffins
-Homemade Pizza on my fave whole wheat crust,ice cream cones (cones .49 @ Aldi!)
snacks:Granola Bars, clementines
SUNDAY:
-soaked oatmeal with blueberries-hot turkey and cheese Sammy's, veggie fries, cherries
-Oven Fried Chicken Drumsticks, Golden Broccoli Salad, potato wedges
snacks:Banana-avocado Kefir Smoothies, Walnut Molasses Pie
MONDAY:
-leftover pie and milk -Butter Beans w/ beef polish sausage, cornbread, Raspberry Crisp
-Tapatio Chicken Thighs, leftover butter beans, spinach salad, leftover crisp
snacks:sliced oranges and bananas, Buttermilk Pie
TUESDAY:
-Basic Vanilla Granola and milk-Homemade Ham Salad Spread (from leftover spiral ham) Sandwiches, baby carrots and dip, cherries
-Easy BBQ Chicken Quarters, mashed potatoes, spinach salad, Eggnog Pudding
snacks:Lemon-Cranberry Wheat Muffins
WEDNESDAY:
-Oatmeal Wheat Pancakes-15 Bean Soup, Whole Wheat Rolls, leftover pudding
-Beef-n-Cabbage Bake, green peas, mapled carrots, sliced pineapples
snacks:leftover rolls with homemade jelly, Fried Bananas
THURSDAY:
-Coconut Rice-Fried Chicken Liver with tater tots, (wheat) Orange-Almond Raisin Muffins
-Chicken and Dumplings, lima beans, mashed potatoes, leftover muffins
snacks: Easy Spelt Cinnamon Rolls, pineapple
FRIDAY:
-Chocolate-Carob Custard-leftover Chicken and Dumplings, potatoes, lima beans, leftover muffins
-homemade pizza on fave Whole Wheat Crust, Orange-Pumpkin Cake w/ Buttery Cream Cheese Frosting
snacks: Crunchy Peanut Butter Balls, Coconut Cream Pie
